I just went through the Mercedes-Benz Australia website and created my new C63 S Coupe. Now I have to get my hustle on and start earning enough cash to afford one! Earnings for the month haven’t changed much from last month but I think they’ll be slightly higher. I’m hoping my action, learning and motivation will push those earnings up dramatically in the near future!
I’m placing as many carrots as possible in front of me and just as many sticks behind me to achieve my new goals. The Mercedes AMG C63 S Coupe is a massive chocolate covered carrot for me as I know if I’m driving one I have solved most of my other financial problems.
Anyway, this carrot above is “Obsidian Black Metallic” with 20 inch AMG Performance 5 twin-spoke forged alloy wheels done in matt black with a polished rim flange. Black on black baby! I would probably consider changing the rims.
That’s the 2 door Coupe in white above. I would take the 4 door sedan too but would prefer the 2 door. I don’t have kids to cart around and don’t have much of a social life so 4 doors is probably 3 too many. And coupes usually always look better than sedans.
The front end on the C63 is pretty mean looking. Overall I wouldn’t say it’s the prettiest car on the road as it has a very distinctive styling that some people love and some people hate, I’m obviously in the former camp.
Specifications for the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe

Combined fuel consumption: 8.7 l/100 km
I went with the black Nappa leather and silver stripes for the interior. And the AMG carbon fibre and brushed aluminum decorative trim. So pretty much all black, inside and out.
It may be another year or two before I own one of these little beauties. I would love one much sooner though. In the next month or two I’ll take one for a test drive as I still want to compare it with the Lexus RC F.
Just thinking now, I should create a dream car fund to make the goal more concrete. Currently I just have plans to increase earnings, decrease debt, get a house and then a nice car. So there’s no real progress on the luxury car front. If I create a separate savings and investment fund for the car I’ll be able to see progress made each month. If I don’t continually plan and measure things they just don’t get done. It’s how I got myself into this financial black hole in the first place. I need a map to achieve anything of value or I just wander off the road.
So, I’ll start with a $100 in a savings account before the end of this month. When it reaches a $1000 I’ll invest in a safe ETF (Exchange Traded Fund).
What’s your favourite Mercedes-Benz? An AMG GT would be nice too.
