I know it’s early days with the Rich Rewards Life blog and I’m still at rock bottom financially, but that’s even more reason to be looking at beautiful cars. One car payment on the new Ferrari 812 Superfast sports car would be a challenge for me right now but that doesn’t mean I can’t dream. In fact, dreaming is essential to change from poverty thinking to abundance thinking!
So, I keep up with what’s happening in the world of super cars, especially anything from the prancing Italian horse. The new for 2017 812 Superfast model is named 8 for the 800 cv, 12 for number of cylinders, and Superfast because it’s pretty quick! True it’s fast but the Superfast label has been used previously by Ferrari so it’s also a nod to their history.
To outdo themselves and increase the horsepower to more than the F12 Berlinetta 6.2 litre engine, Ferrari engineers tweeked the intake system and combustion efficiency to produce a 6.5 litre 12 cylinder engine. Maximum torque is 718 NM at 7000 RPM. A maximum power output is an impressive 800 cv at 8500 RPM.
Aesthetically I still prefer the work of art that is the Ferrari 458 Italia, but the new 812 Superfast would probably eat it for breakfast. Check out Schmee’s in depth review of the Superfast superbeast on youtube here.
Enough dreaming for today though. Time for me to get back to work so that I can keep my 2010 Holden Ute on the road 😉
